Eaton bond issue: only one chance

Editor:
Dear Fellow Citizens:

We want to voice our support and urge our fellow citizens to vote "yes" for the Eaton School bond issue this November. Not only will it provide a much safer environment for our children to attend school and our teachers and staff to work, it will reduce building maintenance expenses and the overall daily operating costs for Eaton Community Schools for years to come.

If that weren't enough incentive and reasons for us to approve this bond issue, the proposed plan, which has been approved by the state of Ohio, will add value to the entire community.

But our citizens must understand the fact we only have one chance to pass this bond issue. If we don't do so now, the millions of dollars that have already been targeted by the state of Ohio for Eaton Community Schools will either be targeted for another Ohio school district or they will disappear and not be used at all.

We are qute familiar with the history of this entire project and can truly confirm to you that our superintendent and our school board have done a good job working with the state of Ohio to secure their commitment to help us complete our project.

If I could coin a phrase for you "it is now or never." Please join us in November and vote "yes" for the Eaton School bond issue. Thank you.
